While walking through the lively narrow streets of Marais neighbourhood, filled with its eclectic crowd, we face numerous boutiques of young trendy designers, delicious Jewish restaurants (formerly this neighbourhood was inhabited mostly by Jews), bars, bistros and gourmet restaurants. It is also considered the gay-friendly neighbourhood of Paris.
Thanks to its central location, the Marais district is well sought by the tourists and the Parisians themselves. 5 minutes away you will find the NotreDame Cathedral, Hotel de Ville, Ile Saint Louis, Centre Georges Pompidou and the charming streets of central Paris. In only 15 minutes you can get to the Louvre and the gardens of Tuilleries, the Latin Quarter (Quartier Latin) and Saint Germain des Prés. In addition, the district offers numerous options of public transport as metro, bus and “Velib” stations (bike hire).
